BURRATA CAPRESE APPETIZER

Ingredients

 • 1 container quality burrata (from fresh cheese section)

 • 2 cups tri-color cherry tomatoes

 • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar

 • ¼ cup good olive oil 

• ¼ cup balsamic glaze 

• ¼ cup chopped fresh basil 

• 1 loaf crusty Italian bread 

• Cracked black pepper, to taste 

• Coarse sea salt, to taste

2–3 ounces

DIRECTIONS

1. Wash cherry tomatoes, drain well, cut in half, and place in a bowl.

 2. Drain burrata and set aside. 

3. Add balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the tomatoes. Toss gently and let marinate for about 20 minutes.

 4. Arrange marinated tomatoes on a serving dish. Place burrata on top, either whole or broken into large pieces. 

5. Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze. 

6. Toast and slice crusty Italian bread. Serve alongside the appetizer for dipping
